View a Redacted File

A redacted file can be viewed from the Redacted Files tab of the File Manager Page. If multiple redactions are created from a video, only the most recent file displays. A file created prior to a new redaction is automatically deleted.

To view a redacted file:

1. Click the video filename on the Redact homepage. The video File Manager Page opens.

2. Click the Redacted Files tab. The most recent redacted file displays.

3. Click play to watch the redacted video and open the video playback controls.

Download a Redacted File and Audit Log

Use the download option to send a zip file to your local downloads folder that contains a copy of the redacted video and an audit log of user actions taken during the redaction process. 

To download a redacted file and audit log:

1. Click the video filename on the Redact homepage. The video File Manager Page opens.

2. Click the Redacted Files tab. The most recent redacted file displays.

3. Click Download. A zip file with the redacted video and audit log are sent to your local system.

Delete a Redacted File

You can delete a redacted file at any time from the Redacted Files tab of the File Manager Page. Once a redacted file is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

To delete a redacted file:

1. Click the video filename on the Redact homepage. The video File Manager Page opens.

2. Click the Redacted Files tab. The most recent redacted file displays.

3. Click Delete. The Delete latest redacted file confirmation window opens.

4. Click Delete. The redacted file is deleted.
