A person can be removed as a suspect from the Suspects tab of the case or from the Processed Details page of the file where the suspect identification was made.

From the Suspects tab:

1. Click the case name from the Case Management Panel. The selected case opens.

2. Click the Suspect tab. A list of all named suspects in the case displays.

3. Click the vertical ellipsis icon in the upper right corner of the suspect card and select Remove Suspect from the drop-down list. The Delete Confirmation window opens.

4. Click Delete to confirm your selection. A “Suspect has been removed” confirmation message momentarily displays at the bottom of the window and the person is removed from the case suspects list.

From the Processed Details Page of the file:

1. Click the case name from the Case Management Panel. The selected case opens. 

2. Click the Processed tab. A list of all processed files for the case displays.

3. Hover over the file containing the suspect you want to remove and click View Matches. The Processed Details page opens to the Matched Faces tab.

4. Click the suspect’s resource image on the left. A list of Potential Matches displays.

5. Click Remove Suspect on the right of the person’s information. A “Suspect has been removed” confirmation message momentarily displays at the bottom of the window and the person is removed as a case suspect.

6. Click X in the upper right corner to close the Processed Details page and record your changes.
