New Feature: Download Invoice as PDF

eCommerce Digital Media Hub users now have the ability to easily generate a PDF for an order invoice. With this new feature, the PDF will no longer rely on the browser or operating system print dialogue to produce the PDF, making the output more consistent.

When viewing an order invoice, a new PDF button is available. Clicking this button will generate and download a PDF of the invoice. The PDF name will be a combination of the Digital Media Hub name and the invoice number.

New Feature: Expanded Search Result Metadata Display

The Asset Field configuration can now be used to define the metadata fields displayed for Grid and List view on the Search Result page. The standard Title and Description metadata values can be overridden with any metadata field that is stored search platform.

The example below shows a set of search results before and after a change to the Asset Fields configuration. The Asset Fields configuration can be customized for the site, account or user:

New Feature: Metadata Edit - Allow Chip Filtering

When editing metadata within Digital Media Hub, some fields present a pick-list that can have a large number of options. Users now have the ability to quickly filter the options based on a text input when attempting to edit metadata.

The edit metadata form for pick-list fields includes a new text input. When the form opens the cursor is active in the input, which will allow an editor to immediately begin typing. As text is entered, the list of displayed options is filtered to only the options that contain the typed text. The form still allows tools to select all or none of the filtered options.

New Feature: Metadata Edit - Customized Restricted Values

When users are editing metadata within Digital Media Hub, certain fields should have a restricted list of possible options. This will make the entry and edit more efficient and accurate. The list of possible options for a particular metadata field like Sport.Player may vary depending on the Digital Media Hub, so this can now be defined in the configuration instead of the actual metadata field definition.

For metadata fields that have a delimiter, the Asset Metadata configuration allows definition of restricted values. When the restricted values are defined, the edit metadata form will display those values as selectable chips.

Search Bar and Collection Style Change

As part of the June 18th Digital Media Hub release, changes have been made to the Search Bar and Collection tray. The Collection tray still includes a hide and show toggle, but instead of an 'X' to hide and a folder icon to show, the same folder icon with a directional arrow is used for both. The search bar no longer can be hidden and it includes a more intuitive 'X' icon to clear an existing search term.

Admin App: Enable or Disable Email Templates

Admin users now have the ability to enable or disable Email Templates within the Admin App.

If the template id is not already on the site config, it can be Enabled. This will add the template id to the site configuration, allowing the delivery of emails that rely on that template.

If the template id is already on the site config, it can be Disabled. This will removed the template id from the site configuration and disable emails that rely on the template.

Admin App: User List Display Includes Creation Date

Admin users now have the ability to view a list of users and easily see when a user was created. The Users page within the Admin App includes a new 'Created' column. The column can be used to sort the results.
