Overview

Now that you’ve redacted your file, you can view the final version in the Redacted Files tab on the File Manager Page. If multiple redacted files have been created from the initially uploaded media, only the most recent file displays. A file created prior to a new redaction is automatically deleted.

View a Redacted File

1. To view your redacted file, you will need to click the file name on the Redact Homepage to open the File Manager page.

2. Click the Redacted Files tab. The most recent redacted file displays.

3. Click play to watch the redacted video and to open the video playback controls.

Download a Redacted File and Audit Log

Use the download option to save a zip file to your local downloads folder that contains a copy of the redacted media and an audit log of user actions taken during the redaction process.

To download a redacted file and audit log:

1. Click the video file name on the Redact Homepage. The video on the File Manager Page opens.

2. Click the Redacted Files tab. The most recent redacted file displays.

3. Click Download Zip, which will include an mp4 of your redacted file and an audit log. You can also download just the mp4 by clicking Download Media or just the audit log by clicking Download Audit Log.

PRO TIP If you don’t need the audit log, it’s recommended to simply Download Media to reduce download time.

Downloaded Media Specs: All audio files will be outputted as MP3; all video files will be converted to MP4 and will retain their video resolution unless the video is larger than 4K. If larger than 4K, it will be downsized to 4K.
